blindingbindinglights started following you

Huh, it had been quite some time since he’d had some stranger wandering in… To think, not so long ago, he was almost used to the unprecedented hustle and bustle in the place. At first an annoyance, soon after simply common place.

It has been awfully quite around here, hasn’t it?

“If there’s something you need,” his tone was easy enough, not particularly annoyed, however not particularly interested either, “I suppose that’s what I’m here for.”

It startled her, just a bit, when he spoke. She hadn’t been spoken to or acknowledged in at least a week so it seemed sudden, especially since she wasn’t expecting it. Though she was thankful for the contact, however minimal. When she’s come there’d been a burst and then it was eerily quiet.

“Ah, alright. Thank you very much then.” She could tell by his tone that he didn’t seem too interested in talking to her so she figured she’d keep to herself for the most part during this little visit. Best to not annoy anyone.

amazing-guts:

As her face basically spoke for herself, the man realized that she was a worthy opponent and not just a random girl that was passing by. His usual luck…
Shrugging at the thought of it, Ryuunosuke quickly threw his knife towards her, actually aiming at her knee - she was gonna follow him after this, probably, and that would have at least slowed her down…

She hadn’t expected him to toss his knife at her so when he did she was unable to react fast enough to dodge, especially with what little distance there was between them. She grunted and stumbled back as the knife sliced into the flesh and part of the bone of her knee.

With a wince and a grunt of pain she yanked out the blade and began running after him, unconcerned with the bleeding. It would heal eventually, probably along the way. Now, she’d have to deal with him. If he’d just let her go there wouldn’t have been a problem and the both of them could’ve gone on with their lives.
